My name is Bernardo Tuccillo.
My passion for photography began as a teenager, when my older brother handed me my first reflex camera. What started as a curiosity soon grew into a vocation. I grew up in Naples, Italy as the youngest of nine siblings.
Working in the film industry I discovered photography can be a mirror for the soul. Cinema taught me that tension lives in what is unsaid, and that a single frame can hold an entire inner world.
I developed a particular love for wide compositions that combine landscapes with human presence, echoing the “wide shot” of film language.
Living abroad, travelling and speaking multiple languages shaped the way I perceive identity. Each journey with my camera has been both an artistic and personal exploration, enriching my eye and deepening my appreciation for the world’s complexity.
I believe photography is about witnessing a soul.
